Job Summary:
- Design, develop and validate control algorithms for real-time embedded systems of transport HVAC and refrigeration units
- Work on controls of subsystems like electrical motors, inverters, sensors, valves, etc.
- Prepare test plans to validate software performance, support testing process, analyze and interpret results, complete documentation
- Work with system, hardware and reliability engineers on integration of new devices, support field trials
Job requirements:
Essential
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical engineering
- Knowledge of C and/or C++ programing language
- Experience with programing of real-time embedded systems
- Presentation and communication skills
- Communicative English skills
Preferred
- Knowledge of STM, Texas Instruments, Atmel or Freescale microcontrollers using real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS
- Understanding of software development process and tools (version control, issues reporting, debugging, etc.)
- Experience with requirements, system and software modeling (UML)
- Experience with industrial & automotive communication protocols (TCP/IP, CAN, WiFi, Bluetooth, SPI, I2C, etc.)
