Sr. HRBP - Corporate Finance
The Human Resources Business Partner for the Corporate Finance organization will partner with the Corporate Finance Leadership Team to ensure talent capabilities are in place, provide change leadership support and drive and execute critical HR processes such as workforce planning, leadership reviews, succession planning and performance and compensation management to enable the function to achieve strategic objectives. This role will serve as the primary HRBP to the Chief Accounting Officer; VP, FP&A; VP, Treasury; VP, Development; VP, Tax, VP, Investor Relations and VP, Audit Services. Also, the successful candidate will work closely with the VP, Human Resources – Corp, who works directly with the CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Function as HR strategic business partner with finance leadership team to develop and execute critical business and organizational strategies; provide coaching, guidance and counsel to leaders on matters related to talent, organizational change and employee engagement
- Partner with functional leaders to drive continuous improvement in resource utilization to ensure a lean infrastructure and maximize resources directed toward driving company growth
- Be a credible coach and confidante to leadership, as well as a strong employee advocate
- Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications
- Provide guidance to leadership on talent management/development and succession planning to ensure the right talent capabilities and bench strength are developed to support the business
- Serve as expert in change management processes to positively impact organizational effectiveness;
- Drive and enable cultural transformation to support a Progressive, Diverse, and Inclusive environment
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on organizational development related matters, including organizational analysis, strategy, structure and key processes to support organizational/business needs
- Build and support an employee engagement strategy that facilitates organizational performance and enables successful organizational change
- Coach and advise on appropriate total rewards strategies, programs, and tools to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement
- Focus on operational excellence through innovation, efficiency, process excellence, and accountability
- Leverage HR Services, HR Coaching Center and Centers of Expertise to meet the needs of client groups
- Lead annual talent management process including performance and development planning, annual reviews and performance calibration
- Navigate a diverse set of talent and labor relations issues, resolve disputes, and create mutually beneficial solutions to ensure fair and consistent treatment all employees; investigate issues, analyze trends to understand high risk areas and create appropriate solutions; Partner effectively with HR partners globally
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
- 10 years’ experience in the Human Resources function
- Must possess strong skills/experience in business partnering
- Demonstrated leadership skills and capability to build consensus and execute common goals in a global, matrixed environment
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and delivery with proven, measurable results for managing change
- Strong talent management, leadership development, performance management, and org dev. experience
- Proven ability to gain confidence of the business leadership team and HR partners; Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership
- Ability to analyze business, financial and people related data and determine appropriate insights and implications
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with all levels of the organization required
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures business compliance
- Proficiency in using Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
