Job Summary:

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to play a key role within a dynamic Corporate Treasury department of a global, multinational corporate. The department has a broad reach of activities including both a Corporate and business focus including:

  • Cash management
  • Group liquidity
  • FX exposure management
  • SWIFT implementation
  • Legal entity and financial restructures
  • Loan portfolio management
  • Cash forecasting
  • Bank account/ bank relationship rationalization
  • Guarantee issuance
  • Working with the business on treasury related solution

 

This individual is responsible for performing various activities within the EMEA treasury function and will be working closely with other group functions as well as the local business teams. These activities primarily include developing and implementing treasury solutions both for centralised control purposes as well as supporting the businesses at a local level. This individual will be required to provide input to and lead various Treasury projects and will perform other duties as requested.

 

The individual is familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the Treasury field, performs a variety of tasks and works independently and in a team structure. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Management of daily cash positioning for EMEA region ensuring funding/ surplus cash positions identified
  • Management and ongoing implementation of SWIFT structure within EMEA

 

  • Assist with management of multi-currency intercompany loan portfolio
  • Kyriba development and BI reporting functionality
  • Assist with Trade Guarantee issuance and management
  • Management of bank account structure including cash pooling
  • Provide guidance and support on treasury related matters to other functions and businesses across ESA

 

  • Project management of various treasury initiatives with some complexity and cross functional impacts

 

  • Assist with bank relationship management and bank relationship transitions where applicable

 

  • Ensure compliance to Sarbanes Oxley in departmental processes

 

  • Ensure implementation and compliance of Group Treasury policies

 

  • Identify and highlight system requirements and issues regarding departmental/ banking systems and implement subject to approval including system integrations where applicable

 

  • Support M&A activities from a treasury perspective as appropriate
  • Ad hoc projects

 



Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in a corporate treasury environment
  • Certified Treasury Professional or equivalent certification preferred
  • Personal computer literacy
  • Strong organisational, critical thinking, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
  • Communicates compellingly with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both on an individual basis and as part of a global team
  • Must have proven problem solving abilities
  • Promotes change
  • Learns enthusiastically
  • Ability to appreciate and work on a cross functional/ business perspective
  • A high level of analytical ability that enables the person to think independently and propose thoughtful recommendations that add value
  • Possess a strong work ethic and the drive to become a financial leader within the Company
  • Ability to focus on essentials and prioritise appropriately.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity with the ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to details. 
  • Experience with Oracle and Kryiba an advantage
