Project Manager - HVAC

 

The Project Manager role includes planning projects and taking them all the way through to implementation, mapping out timelines to ensure projects are completed on time, managing project budget and margin improvement, conducting risk assessments, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, solving problems, delivering to meet the original specifications and timelines.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Conduct handover of new orders and review to ensure they meet all the requirements including technician sign off to successfully deliver (which includes, on rental, confirmation from the yard as to all items available and from service as to labour availability)
• Using multiple third party relationships to get the best price and availability
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Develop project plans to monitor and track progress (including revenue milestones)
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders (including internal)
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain project documentation
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Manage multiple small and large projects as required, delegating tasks as needed to allow all tasks to be completed as expected.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience as in the HVAC business.
• Project Management qualification or experience
• Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication
