- Apply knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology principles, techniques, procedures and equipment to the validation and qualification of our products
- Follow existing test procedures, documenting and effectively communicating results
- Promote established environmental, health, and safety procedures to ensure one’s own safety and that of others in the work area
- Contribute to cleanliness and neatness in the laboratory environment
- Demonstrate flexibility to work in multiple areas
- Collaborate effectively and in a manner that promotes positive interactions within the lab and with teams external to the lab
- 2yr HVAC Associate's degree preferred, minimum of 1 yr HVAC certificate or other associate's degree with at least 3 years HVAC service and installation experience or the ability to complete a 1-year HVAC certificate through a designated school within the first 2 years of employment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Thorough understanding of refrigeration systems and practical experience installing or troubleshooting systems
- Basic understanding of electrical components including practical electrical safety
- Basic brazing and soldering skills
- Independent, self-motivated worker who can work productively with limited direct supervision
- Must be able to work 2nd shift hours
