The IT Business Analyst will work closely with the business to create modern, innovative MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions. Work in collaboration with development teams, gather and document business requirements to implement transformational functionality that addresses key business needs and resolves recurring operational issues. Manage multiple project priorities simultaneously with tight deadlines using strong problem solving and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Key participant in the implementation of an Enterprise MES
- Work with the business to create detailed requirements, business cases, and process documentation; create design flows and narratives, assist developers with technical design; monitor / perform testing and implement process changes
- Create and maintain test cases (automated testing experience a plus)
- Drive the adoption of standard work processes, standard application functionality and data standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in IT-related field or equivalent
- 5+ years IT professional experience
- Experience with MES applications, DELMIA Apriso is the preferred MES system
- Understanding of manufacturing systems and related PLM and ERP boundary systems
- Proven experience with on-site manufacturing and/or logistics execution software implementations a plus
- Business analysis experience with a demonstrated history of success and progression
- Customer oriented and responsive
- Experience with onshore/offshore models for both projects and operations
- Business acumen
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Technical acumen, including SQL
- Up to 20% potential travel in the future
