Red Ventures and Trane Technologies will together create a state-of-the-art digital marketing, consumer experience and sales origination company for residential HVAC and other home services. We will manage the best (branded and unbranded) online properties to attract and engage consumers. Our competitive advantage will come from superior customer experience and best-in-class technology enabling our ability to “close the loop” on-demand for repair, replacement and upgrade/augmentation to homeowners’ systems.  By closing the loop, we mean – turning leads into orders and enabling the entire consumer experience from lead to fulfillment.

Role at a glance

The ideal candidate will function as a Senior Manager Strategic Programs, participating and leading projects and programs supporting the full life cycle management delivery and business capabilities. The role requires the ability to effectively operate in a blended environment of business and technical personnel of various levels across the organization. The Project Manager will engage as part of the team with primary focus on delivering project objectives in support of Magenta Tech's strategic objectives.   Exceptional collaboration and the ability to lead diverse and multi-functional teams is essential. 

This role may be filled remotely within the Eastern or Central US time zones.  *The Company reserves the right to modify this designation should business needs require.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversees execution of key programs and projects across Magenta Technologies ensuring timely and high quality deliverables.  Leadership includes providing status communication, risk management, staffing, budgeting, change management, and other duties as required
• Leverages revises and/or introduces new processes, systems or tools to enhance performance of teams on key programs
• Serves as a coach and player on key large scale projects so that the organization’s short and long-term strategic objectives are achieved
• Provides strategic guidance on large-scale projects.  Lead blended (business and technical) project delivery teams to execute the full system development lifecycle
• Generates processes to help maximize resources and budgets.
• Drives the design and implementation of new processes within the organizational structure.
• Adjusts project plans to meet changes external to the project and/or the organization.
• Explains complex, multi-faceted issues and convinces others on proposed concepts, solutions and approaches.
• Partner cross-functionally to assure project & solutions are well-architected to achieve appropriate functional and technical designs for the project.
• Clarify business requirements, analyze business and technical processes and/or functions, assure findings are well documented, identify areas for improvement and create specifications to implement.
• Follow migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs.
• Follow best practices and standards to include project deployment standards in collaboration with the larger cross-functional team

Who we’re looking for:

• Seven+ years of experience managing business solution projects throughout their full lifecycle
• B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or Business or a related discipline.
• Experience with relevant functional areas (Information Technology, Sales Ops, Customer Care, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience managing solution delivery lifecycle using applicable project methods such as waterfall, agile, etc.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodology, tools and implementation
• Mastery of standard project management tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint, JIRA, etc.
• Working knowledge of one or more IT solutions as part of an integrated environment including reporting/analytics, order management, ERP and other related front and / or back office solutions, including IT infrastructure.
