Senior Data Analyst-Supply

Position Objective:
The Residential HVAC and Supply business is looking for an analytical and motivated individual to join a collaborative team to accelerate our data and analytics capability. The Senior Data Analyst position will partner with the HVAC Parts and Supply team to lead analytics development and maintenance focused on running the Supply business and supporting transformation initiatives. This position will own and prepare key reporting solutions that support the business self-service analytics objective which will drive profitable growth, improve cashflow and make a positive difference in the lives of our internal team, channel partners and customers.
The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in data availability and analytics tools that will improve business analytics capabilities to assist cross-functional business partners to solve key business challenges that will drive real business results.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing data sources and determine appropriate actions to accelerate data availability and self-service reporting throughout Parts and Supply
- Drive data uniformity and consistent process improvements within Parts and Supply to reduce complexities, overlaps, and manual processes
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for gathering and deploying sales, finance and other data into solutions that enable growth and financial metric attainment
- Guide a cross-functional team to improve data integrity, quality of data insights and efficiency of critical tasks through a collaborative, process-driven approach
- Provide coaching and mentorship to sales enablement, retail operations, supply chain, finance and product management teams
- Assess stakeholder needs, translate business problems to analytics objectives then manage projects that deliver measurable business results through insight
- Develop effective visualizations based on large, disparate data sets
- Proficiently cleanse, blend and analyze data using a combination of tools such as SQL, Alteryx, Tableau or similar
- Develop processes for analytics automation and deployment
- Innovate with a continuous improvement, action-oriented mindset focused on deep listening and verification of success
- Present to varying levels of leadership to persuade action and guide decisions
- Develop standard analytic work processes and guide the teams to maintain
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline to include but not limited to: Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Analytics.
- Minimum of 5 years working in a data analyst capacity
- Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Hyperion, and financial modelling
- Requires handling confidential information
- Strong financial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organizational agility: Capable of interacting with people in various levels in the organization
- Focused on team accountability and development while driving process improvements
- Self-directed, energetic and proactive
- Effective in verbal and written communication skills
- Work well under pressure
