Job Summary:
Contract Analyst, reporting directly to the Territory Leader, Contract Management, Trane Commercial North America.

 

This role has been designated as Hybrid – Flex for your day.  While most work must be done on-site, there is flexibility to work remotely when workflow and priorities allow. *The Company reserves the right to modify this designation should business needs require. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide support to Commercial Sales Offices in completion of essential bid documentation.

  • Conduct contract review for all customer agreements referred to the Contract Management department.

  • Check submitted documents for completeness and compliance with Company policy.

  •  This position will help our sales organization close more profitable business, while managing exposure to risks inherent with all bid and contract documents.

  • Conduct initial review of customer agreements referred to department by both Financial Services and Sales Offices to determine method of acknowledgement of customer agreement.

  •  Analyze department metrics and complete quarterly report to Executive Management. Provide administrative support for the department.

 

Qualifications:

  • Has strong knowledge of commonly used business concepts, practices, and procedures.  HVAC industry experience is preferred but not required.

  • Requires associate’s degree in business, legal studies, paralegal or related field and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of business experience.   Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

  • Experience making presentations to large and small groups of people preferred.

  • Ability to quickly read and understand complex contracts required.

  • Ability to apply well-developed written and oral communication skills required.

  • Must be able to apply well-developed personal computer skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and energetic environment required.

  • Must be able to meet short and long term deadlines and goals.

  • Ability to exercise good judgment required.

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
