Change Agent - Senior Lean Engineer
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Support the Value Stream Coach and Value Stream in implementing lean transformation and daily management across the value stream
- Act as a change agent to facilitate improvements across all processes through the active support, participation and leadership of Rapid Improvement Events and meetings
- Executing key activities as part of Lean Transformation and daily management
- BOS Strategy Owner - develop, articulate, and drive BOS Strategy. Translate that strategy into specific metrics, objectives, and goals that drive growth, and improve Employee Engagement, Quality, Delivery, Cycle, and Cost
- Lean Knowledge - recognize, select and be capable of coaching/teaching the most impactful lean tools or methodology (operational or transactional) that will deliver premier business results
- Performance Coaching - assess performance gaps and identify root causes through a systematic approach. Drive change, facilitate teams/individuals to identify, develop and/or deliver sustainable solutions to close performance gaps.
- Develop teams/ individuals via training and coaching to support Lean knowledge and talents development in the organization
- Trusted Advisor - partner and manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships, use trust and influence with key stakeholders to provide insight and thought leadership to get people aligned and moving in the same direction. Drive high performance and achieve business results. Identify change impacts and opportunities. Quickly address challenges, work to solve the most critical problems and accelerate the change to capture the benefits
Qualification:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree or related discipline desired
- Experience working in a world-class Lean working environment highly preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts, tools and techniques
Language Skills (Czech & English):
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with various audiences at the site level.
- Ability to effectively facilitate a group’s activities and discussions using a defined process.
- Ability to write reports, general business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to create standard work documents, operational procedures and visual work aids
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from operators, supervisors and managers at the site level
