We have an exciting opportunity within our Aftermarket Product Management team in our Thermo King Americas Business Unit.  This Product Manager will have ownership for share growth, margin expansion, and cash generation for Bus HVAC parts and accessories sold through our Dealer and OEM channels.   Key responsibilities will include managing product P&Ls, analyzing the business, working closely with key stakeholders on Sales enablement, along with pricing and model management execution.  It also involves close collaboration with the Bus platform PGT to ensure customer lifecycle expectations are met. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Bus service part and accessory product categories throughout product life cycle, with full responsibility for pricing, forecasting, marketing, and end of product life
  • Identify market opportunities and prioritizing product and customer requirements for new product development, quality improvement and cost management initiatives
  • Define the product category strategy and working cross functionally to deliver winning products
  • Develop and leverage financial analytics to deliver profitable growth
  • Work closely with vendors/suppliers to identify new opportunities, source innovative new product and/or line extensions and be an expert in the competitive landscape.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other technical related degree
  • Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of product management or other relevant experience
  • Must have a strong technical aptitude and the ability to work across different functions
  • Strong financial acumen is required
  • Excellent organization skills and flexibility to handle a variety of time sensitive tasks and projects
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective support on a broad range of activities requiring attention to detail
  • Solid analytical and communication skills
  • Be able to perform effectively as a team member and be able to work independently in the pursuit of company objectives
  • Knowledge of the transport refrigeration business, trucking industry and technical knowledge preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
