Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and drive Aftermarket Revenue and Profitability results at the Customer and Dealer level through Implementation of Corporate strategies, direct customer contact, Dealer education, expand/develop customer relationships to create new opportunities; thereby driving success at all levels of Aftermarket. This position will leverage Aftermarket knowledge to support business plans, support corporate and dealer marketing plans, and continually enhance Dealer and Customer relationships.

Success will require:

1. Profitably grow aftermarket service parts, upgrades, and telematics business in the assigned geographic area through direct interface with end user customers, dealers, and internal teams.

2. Support various Transport Sales and Service Organizations against customer initiatives.

3. Product Line experience to provide leadership with Customer and Dealer solutions.

4. Implement Customer and Dealer Training, Education Webinars, and direct intervention with End User Customers within the geographic area.

5. Communicate and implement commercial parts programs within the assigned geographic area.

6. Work with various corporate cross functional groups to provide product, customer, and dealer feedback.

7. Language skills required for the respective geographic area as well as English skills

8. Track record of achieving financial targets in similar sales roles

9. Develop a strong market understanding and identify opportunities to grow market share on aftermarket parts

10. Strong technical background to understand Thermo King aftermarket products and solutions

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum requirement is a university degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in automotive or transportation industry preferred.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills required.
  • MS Office skills must be advanced.
  • Knowledge of transport refrigeration or Thermo King products, as well as competitive equipment to include understanding of difference and the effect on life cycle cost.
  • Good interpersonal skills to balance between dealer, customer and internally
  • Good negotiation and selling skills.
  • Working knowledge of dealer and customer business practices.
  • 70% travel required.
